We have created a fun online course to help you make this more fun and enjoyable.
ABOUT THE LESSONS
- Lessons will be done through Zoom (you can download it free at https://zoom.us/).
- You must have a good internet connection and a good camera/mic.
ONLINE MAGIC LESSONS
We have lessons for the following groups:
MAGIC FOR KIDS AGES 5-7
These lessons are specially designed to introduce younger kids to the world of magic. They will learn some basic concepts along with several impressive easy-to-do tricks with house items that are easy to find.
Course length: 4 weeks, 1 session per week
Lesson #1 – What is Magic?
- Introduction to the concept of magic.
- Optical Illusions (The paper illusion)
- Energy threads
- Boomerang Trick
- Assistant Levitation Illusion
- Build our own magic box
- Magic time! (iPad Magic – Red ball)
Lesson #2 – Magic with our body
- Magnetic pencil I
- Magnetic pencil II
- Stocked to the chair
- The defiant finger that won’t lift
Lesson #3 – Magic with elements
- Magic Box Equilibrium (how to equilibrate our magic box in the border of the table)
- Rubber band magic I
- Body through a sheet of paper (passing through miracle)
- Pencil to straw under the table napkin
Lesson #4 – Magic with elements II
- Buddha papper mystery
- Change lollipop color
- Paper clip and bill trick
- Appearing coin in a matchbox
- The torn and restored paper
- You can start the fun with just household elements such as paper, pencils, shoe box, rubber bands, etc.
- Each session is 1 hour long.
- Each class has two parts:
- First part: Matias will show a trick or technique that the student will work on and practice.
- Second part: Matias will give assignments and homework and some extra material to read or work on during the week.
- Each student will receive supporting material for each lesson.
- Oh and Matias might show you a trick or two during the session just for fun!
MAGIC FOR KIDS AGES 8-12
These are lessons specially designed for older kids and teens.
You will learn some easy-to-do card techniques and tricks that will make you look like a real pro. We will also work on some incredible math tricks and more!
Course length: 4 weeks, 1 session per week

- We will send you a box with some materials* (allow 4-5 business days for delivery), or you can start the fun with just a regular deck of cards, rubber bands, $1 and quarters!

TEENS AND ADULTS
These are lessons specially designed for teens and adults. You will learn some card techniques and tricks that will make you look like a real pro. You will also learn magic with everyday items (rubber bands, pens, coins, bills, etc) including how to make $100 appear and how to turn $1 into $100.
Course length: 4 weeks, 1 session per week

- Semiautomatic Card Tricks I – Finding The Aces by spectator (cutting the deck)

SPECIAL PRICES DURING COVID-19 SEASON
- 1 student Single Session $ 350 $250/session
- 4 Session Package $1,400 $800/package
This all sounds great, what else should I know?
STUDENTS EXPECTATIONS
- Matias expects that the student will practice/rehearse all the tricks that will be taught at class.
- Some techniques might take a while to develop, and it is expected that the students will make the proper time to practice and rehearse. Failure to do this could turn into a class cancelation.
- Lots of practice is required in order to develop presentation skills.
- Also lot of enthusiasm for learning new things.
- Matias reserves the right to admission selection as well as continue teaching the student if the student shows no longer interest in learning or doesn’t practice and doesn’t work on the assignments.
CLASS CHANGES
- The class schedule can be changed temporarily due weather conditions or other major conflicts, or if Matias has a show at the same hour.
